Madonna’a Adoption Battle: The Biological Father Fights Back!
The early show will air an interview with the father of the Malawian girl that Madonna is trying to adopt. The biological father, James Kambewa, is trying to keep his daughter and wants to stop the adoption process.
According to People magazine, the father has said, “I want to take care of her, and I’m capable of taking care of my baby. Mercy, she is a Malawian, so I need her to grow as a Malawian…with our culture.” He also admitted that he has never met his daughter and has only seen her through the TV.
Madonna’s rep has stated that they do not even know if this man is the real father since the little girl has been in an orphanage her whole life.
The interview will air on CBS on “The Early Show” on Monday.
Madonna doesn’t stand a chance. She is a single parent also, and I think that makes a difference.
