Madonna’s New Home on the Upper East Side
Today during my morning walk around my neighborhood, there was something different on the block. The local news stations were set up on my corner and the TV cameras were focused on one of the houses not to far from my apartment building. I wondered what was going on and made a joke that it was probably another money scheme story.
Being a little nosey I turned on the morning news once I got home. I found out that it had nothing to do with the economy or money scandals, but because of a new neighbor that was moving in.
Yes it’s true, I will be neighbors with Madonna. She recently sold her home on the Upper West Side for a new one on the Upper East Side. She paid 40 million for the 13 bedroom palace. I have to say that I actually thought that this house was converted to multiple apartments for the longest time; I guess I was wrong.
Well I will say welcome new neighbor and I hope that she enjoys living in this neighborhood, I know I do.
