President Barack Obama on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” Last Night.

Last night, President Barack Obama made an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” The President and Jay Leno discussed the bad economy and how Obama plans to recover it and make our economy good again. 

Obama told America that we need to not be scared, but to have confidence in what the government is doing. He said nothing is going to happen overnight, but be patient and we will recover.

Leno went on to joking about how cool it must be to fly on Air Force One. The President joked back and said he was very cool, but his daughters were more interested in the candy that was in a jar on the plane. 

Jay Leno also asked about the dog that was promised to daughters Malia and Sasha during the campaign trail. Obama joked that this was just a campaign promise, but quickly laughed and said he plans on keeping his word. This will be the dog for the girls and will arrive in early April, after his trip to Europe. Obama said, “When we get back the dog will be in place. They say if you want a friend in Washington, get a dog.”
