Gossip Girl, The Juicy New Episode that Aired on Monday

Gossip Girl, The Juicy New Episode that Aired on Monday

This week on Monday was the new episode of Gossip Girl. As I said before in my posts, I have been waiting for this episode for some time now. The television drama hadn’t played a new episode in five weeks and this Monday, all of the Gossip Girl fans had their questions answered.

The episode is one to remember and was very juicy. The students were putting on a play based on a very old book called “The Age of Innocence” that was about the Upper East Side society, basically themselves. The director of the play was an up and coming new artist who Serena just happened to have a crush on. She tried to pursue him, who turned out to be gay, with the help of Vanessa.

Nate, Vanessa’s boyfriend, over heard Vanessa telling Serena what to say during a tutor  session with the director and he believed that Vanessa was the one with the crush. Nate told Vanessa how he felt during the actual school play in an outburst and broke up with her. Later in the episode Vanessa went to Nate’s house and explained the situation and they made up.

Meanwhile, Blair found out that she did not get the spot to Yale do to a phone call that someone made. This person also wrote to Gossip girl about Serena and Blair’s personal life. Blair thought it was Dan because he was the only person who knew everything. Later we found out it was the new young teacher Rachel.

Dan and Rachel couldn’t keep there hands off each other the whole episode. They kept sending notes back and forth through Jenny and Dans father found one. It said where and when they would meet so Rufus decided to go instead and confront the teacher. He told her to stay away from his son. On the night of the play, Dan and Rachel decided to have sex in the costume room. Dan eventually found out that Rachel was just a childish as Blair and broke up with her. Rachel moved back to her home town and I don’t know if we will see her around the Upper East Side again.

At the end of the episode Blair felt bad for herself and she didn’t go home after the play. She went to a lounge and while she was there, Chuck decided that they were meant for each other and waited for her at her house. Blair met a familiar face though at the lounge and the two shared a moment. It was Carter, an older wealthy guy who has been in earlier episode and none of the guys like.

We will have to see what happens next. Can’t wait till next Monday for another new episode of Gossip Girl.
