The 81st Annual Academy Awards were celebrated Sunday night and it is said to be the best night in Hollywood. Well even though it might not be for everyone, it sure was for the winners. Six-time Oscar nominee Kate Winslet won for best actress the WWII epic, “The Reader.” Sean Penn won for best Actor in his role in the new hit movie “Milk.” The biggest winners of the night were the actors and actresses and all the kids of the movie “Slumdog Millionaire.”
There was also funny moments and spoofs. The best funny moment that everyone is still talking about was when Ben Stiller dressed up like and did and impressioanal role of Joaquin Phoenix when he was on “The Late Show” with David Letterman.
The evening gowns were also great. Ann Hathaway wore a beuitiful and stunning ivory and studded gown. Angelina wore and long sleek black gown with emerald earrings and ring.
All in all the night was one to remember.
