Joaquin Phoenix, On another Planet!

The actor Joaquin Phoenix appeared on the “Late Show with David Letterman” last night to talk about his new film, “Two Lovers” that he and Gwyneth Paltrow starred in. he appeared very scruffy with a thick beard and seemed like he was on another planet. He barely talked, hardly cracked a smile, and got mad at a few of Letterman’s comments. Letterman tried his hardest to get Joaquin to answer questions, so instead he just cracked jokes to make the audience laugh. The whole interview was awkward and uncomfortable. Joaquin did talk about his new career move to become a hip hop musician and said he would love to come on the show to perform when he starts promoting his album. Letterman joked and said he would put him in the rolodex. Letterman ended the interview by saying, “Joaquin, I’m sorry you couldn’t be here tonight.”
