Singer and heartthrob Chris Brown, 19, was arrested at 6:30 PM Sunday. He turned himself into Los Angeles police and was charged with felony battery. He was accused of felony battery after the victim suffered from visible injuries. Reports showed Brown hiding himself under a blanket in front of the police station. Chris Brown’s bail was set at $50,000. He immediately paid the bail and was released.
Chris Brown was scheduled to perform last night on the Grammy’s but dropped out after the incident. Rihanna was also scheduled to perform but also dropped out. Rumors have spread that Rihanna is the alleged victim, but this has not been confirmed. She was with Chris Brown shortly before the battery incident. Since this is a domestic violence case, names will not be released.
