Presidential Inauguration

Today is the day!

Barack Obama will be sworn in as president of the United States today and the procession to the event has already started. It is a historical day for many Americans. Yes the obvious is because he is the first black president, but also because he is a sign for hope for this country which really needs it. He is a sign for all American because he makes us feel as if everything will be better. I feel that people look to him and truly believe that he will fix everything that s wrong in our country including the economy, health care, and the war that is still going on.

I am a registered Democrat, but I didn’t vote for Obama because of this reason. I voted for him because I believe that he will do all the things we hope for him to do. I know that this is a day that will be followed by change and this change is for the better. Barack Obama will officially get sworn in after Joe Biden at about 11:50 a.m.
