Well another year and season has started for America’s favorite show and even though there is a new face, it’s still the same Idol. American Idol started on Tuesday night for a two hour premier and continued on Wednesday night. Paula, Randy, and Simon were back in the judges seats, but a new face graced our presence as well.
The new and forth judge, Kara, sits between Paula and Randy. She started out to a good start by giving her opinions and judging the contestants, but then she kind of got a little crazy. A female contestant walked in only wearing a bikini. Now all of us Idol fans know how weird the contestants can be, sometimes wearing strange outfits to stand out. Kara I guess didn’t know this. When the girl walked in Kara started to talk bad about her and when she stated to sing it got worse. Now the bikini girl had an okay voice, I have definitely heard worse, but Kara thought that it was her job to start singing herself in sort of a competition between the two of them. For being a new judge that nobody has even heard of, this little event looks more like a jealous outburst then a constructive judgement on singing.
This was just one crazy scene from the premier, one that people were talking about the day after. I can’t wait to see what other crazy things happen on this years American Idol and hopefully Kara doesn’t come off jealous anymore.
