Pushing Daisies is Cancelled

I am so upset at the decision to cancel the popular TV show Pushing Daisies. This show came out last year just before the writers strike and was brought back this season on ABC. I thought since the network brought the show back this year, that it would be safe. I was wrong. 

The show aired on Wednesday nights at 8:00 p.m. on ABC and was a delightfully different show from the rest we see on TV. It was an imaginative show that had humor, fantasy, and romance all wrapped into a investigative drama. The lead character Ned was a pie maker and private investigator who could bring the dead back to life with just one touch. The show had a Tim Burton feel of fantasy and horror. 

I guess having a show that is a little different from the rest is not good enough. All they replaced the show with is repeats, so there’s not even a better show on. If you are, or I should say were, a fan of Pushing Daisies there is a petition on the ABC web site to keep the show.
