John Travolta’s Statement about his Son 

We all found out about the shocking death of John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s son this past weekend and I feel that everyone wishes the best for the grieving family. John Travolta’s son Jett was only 16 years old, but suffered from seizures his whole life. The family was vacationing in the Bahamas when the incident happened. 

According to sources, Jett was found unconscious in the bathroom and John tried to resuscitate him. “He didn’t want anything to happen to that boy, and he kept on trying to revive him,” explained Mike Ossi the family attorney. “He did mouth-to-mouth until they had to physically remove John to take Jett to the hospital.” 

Even though they have a pretty good idea of what happened to their son, an autopsy for Jett will still be held on Monday in the Bahamas, where this horrible tragedy took place.

Reps for the family have released a statement to Extra.com stating, “We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences.” Jett was the Travolta’s only son. They have an eight year old daughter named Ella.
