Happy New Years 2009
First I would like to say Happy New Years to everyone. Another year went by so fast and another has already started. I sometimes wonder “where does the time go?” I hope that everyone had a very special New Years and hope the best for 2009.
I spend my New Years Eve standing out in the bitter cold of Times Square in New York City with my family. We were in the front row pen directly under the ball and not to far from the music stage. Thanks to a special person getting us in the front row, my family only had to only wait outside for 4 hours, which was long enough. This year in New York was the coldest for New Years in a very long time.
Even though the night was absolutely freezing and everyone had to keep dancing and moving just to keep warm, the Times Square event is really fun and need to be done at least once in your life time. It’s a fun celebration that everyone shears together in the middle of a really great city.
