Jessica Speaks Out!

The recent headlines about Jessica Simpson and her weight gain have been the talk of the celebrity gossip world and they have been leaving many women pissed off. Jessica’s sister, Ashley, first spoke out on her blog and later on television saying how our society has more important things to talk about instead of some ones weight. Later full figure models spoke out in frustration and anger. Now finally Jessica has stuck up for herself and has addressed the horrible and immature headlines. 

During a performance on Thursday night in Charlottesville, Virginia Jessica spoke to the crowd saying, “Thank you for your support. Please remember, no matter what you go through in life, somebody else might have it harder. So just appreciate.” Jessica, 28, opened for Rascal Flatts at the University of Virginia’s John Paul Jones Arena. She wore tight black leather pants and looked great. She ended her performance by saying, “I feel like in our world today we focus on so many things that are completely pointless. Stay positive, and pray out loud! I love you guys, good night.”

I think it’s time that we as a society stop talking about people and trying to point out everyone’s flaws. We should start dealing what really matters, like saving money or something along those lines.
