Is it so, Letterman is finally going to make up with McCain? According to Extra TV, despite a recent “Late Show” cancellation, David Letterman is ready to make up with John McCain and has invited him to come back to the show as a guest. John McCain is scheduled to appear for his 13th visit to the “Late Show.” The show will air on Thursday.
David Letterman angrily joked about McCain after the Republican Presidential Candidate told Letterman that he needed to cancel his appearance last month to head back to Washington and work on the economic crisis, but sat down for an interview with Katie Couric on CBS instead.
The “Late Show” broadcasted the interview prepping with Katie Couric and has been making fun of John McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin since that night. The Republican campaign stated after the cancellation, that due to the crisis on Wall Street, the campaign “felt this wasn’t a night for comedy.”
