I recently discovered the cutest little sock puppets ever made and the company that goes along with them. Friends of Socktopus is a tiny company located in the tiny seaside town of Anacortes, WA. They make and carry clothing, sock monkeys, and stuffed animals that are made by hand. These items include octopi, kitties, owls, and DIY kits.
The little creatures that are in this shop, were created by artist and designer Clarity Miller. Each item is handmade by Clarity, from her home in the beautiful San Juan Islands and allows her to be a stay at home mom to her baby. Clarity also has a little online shop called blackbirdfashion. She sells her sock puppets, many which are made form recycled material. You can also make these sock puppets at home with the DIY kit that she sells as well.
