A great form of art for those artists who enjoy using multiple mediums is the art of mixed media. Mixing different medium into one piece of art allows the artist to incorporate different textures, themes, and feeling into their artwork. One mixed media artist that is a true talent is Darcy Altaville. Darcy is a mother of three children, works as a P/T Sales representative, and is a mixed media artist as well.
Darcy has a passion when it comes to creating art and incorporates the vintage theme, lots of color, and the written word to her pieces which are usually in series, “ I tend to work on a few series at once, allowing me to play and create according to my muse, and providing me with a diverse body of work.”
