Clay Aiken Comes Out!
Clay Aiken, pop singer, Broadway star, and American Idol contestant, decide to tell all that he is gay. He came out to People magazine in an interview, “I cannot raise a child to lie or hide things.” He made this important and life changing decision after the birth of his first son, Parker Foster Aiken, via vitro fertilization with his best friend, producer Jaymes Foster. Clay and Jaymes will raise their son together in a happy and loving home.
Clay has stated that he never wanted to lie to his fans and that he hopes they don’t leave him. “Whether it be having a child out of wedlock, or whether it be simply being a homosexual, it’s going to be a lot.”
