Great Restaurant in Little Italy
I went to Little Italy in New York City this week and went to an amazing Italian restaurant. Being from a big Italian family, it is hard for me to be pleased wit italian restaurants because I am always comparing them to my family’s dishes. Usually the restaurant looses, but Pellegrino’s definitely made me want to come back. Just thinking about the food right now is making me hungary.
Pellegrino’s had all the italian favorites on their menu including al a vodka sauce, fettucini, and of course spaghetti and meatballs. I ordered the pesto sauce and it was the best I have ever had. My husband ordered linguini in a tomato sauce with shrimp and anchovies and he loved it. They also brought out a variety of breads in the beginning including garlic bread, seeded italian, and little pizza’s.
