Tina Fey spoof on SNL

Tina Fey spoof on SNL

It was rumored and everyone couldn’t wait to find out if Tina Fey, the former “Saturday Night Live” star and now “30 Rock” star, would return to SNL to play Sarah Palin. Well the rumors were answered Saturday night when Tina Fey returned to SNL this past weekend to play the Vice Presidential candidate in the opening sketch. Amy Poehler stood next to Tina Fey in the sketch, playing Hilary Clinton.

If you didn’t get to view it, you missed one hilarious sketch. It was really amazing how much the Tina Fey and Governor Sarah Palin look alike.  This sketch will definitely become a classic in the Saturday Night Live vault. It has been noted that Saturday’s episode was the most watched “SNL” episode since December 17, 2002. That was when Vice President Al Gore hosted the show.
