A Movie About Facebook
A Movie About Facebook
Facebook goes to Hollywood? Apparently the story about Facebook is going to be a movie. Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin from “A Few Good Men” and “The West Wing” has confirmed that he is writing a movie about the social network Web site Facebook. Facebook announced recently that it hit 100 million users worldwide which was a huge success. Aaron Sorkin’s assistant wrote on the Facebook group page that he agreed to write a movie for Sony and the producer Scott Rudin.
The movie will be about how Facebook was invented but the Sorkin stated that the details are not in place yet, “I honestly don’t know how I’m going to write the movie yet.” The story might be about Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, and his friends Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes, who started the social networking site while studying at Harvard in 2004. Facebook was initially for Harvard students only, but has opened and grown to all high school and colleges universities as well.
In my opinion facebook is a great way to social network. Every site has it’s flaws and safety issues but overall Facebook is one hot networking site. We’ll just have to wait to see if the movie is just as popular.
