Season 2 Premiere, “Summer, Kind of Wonderful”
The show aired last night, Monday 8/1/08, and Gossip Girl was definitely back to it’s old ways. The show gave up it’s Manhattan scenery for the beautiful sandy beaches of The Hamptons. Nate decided to get over his first season relationships by replacing them with an older married woman. Chuck spent his summer trying to forget Blair by attending to triplets. Blair joined the crew at the beach and brought an unexpected new love, who she vowed would make Chuck jealous not knowing that he was a lord. Jennie impressed her internship boss by attending the socialite white party with Eric and showed she was more then just another intern slave. Serena started out the season lonely and broken hearted until Dan made his appearance. They agreed to meet each other at the beach and left viewers wondering if these two lovebirds will get back together.
