Making History Barack Obama

Published by jewels under Important People Edit This

Last night Senator Barack Obama accepted the Democratic presidential nomination and made history for our country in the Denver Bronco’s stadium. His speech was powerful as he explained how he would make a difference in our lives as president.

“Tonight, tonight, I say to the people of America, to Democrats and Republicans and independents across this great land — enough!”

He blamed the nations hardships on the broken politics and failed policies of Goerge W. Bush. He did praised John McCain for his service to this country, but he said we can not afford to have a third term of these policies.

“Tonight, more Americans are out of work, and more are working harder for less. More of you have lost your homes, and even more are watching your home values plummet. More of you have cars you can’t afford to drive, credit card bills you can’t afford to pay and tuition that’s beyond your reach.”

Senator Barack Obama continued his speech and addressed his policies and how he will save and change this country for the better and restore the american dream.
